St. Patrick's Day

We went to the parade on Saturday here in town and it was so sunny and beautiful. It was a lot of fun. Sammi likes to watch the horses and Emma just likes the whole shebang! Emma went to a sleepover at Ashley's (her first sleepover at a friends, sniff,sniff)and we met them Sunday for the Martin City parade. We got there way too early and Emma was a grouch and I wanted to scream. But once the parade got going it was a lot of fun. The kids ran between the parade and the van and we all just chatted it up. There were four families there and between us we had 11 kids, 8 of them 4 years old or under.

I don't know why some of my pic's aren't working. Oh well. So much for doing this everyday. I have had a very busy 3 weeks. The girls haven't slept well in those 3 weeks either so Mommy is tired, crabby and not been running like she should. I paid for the marathon though so I am getting back on track this week. I ran 6 miles today and am doing 12 tomorrow. I am trying to get up and run in the morning since it is finally too hot to run at night before it gets dark. It is hard to get up though when I have been up several times overnight. We went to Branson this past week with my mom and Emma had a blast. Sammi is not a traveler. We had a good time anyways.
