This is how Daddy and Emma were napping today. ARen't they cute! Today is my rest day so no running to report.

July 7

Sammi tried out her new shades, and I finally found the baby swimsuits! Yay me! The second picture cracked me up and I said Samantha was big pimpin, so then Emma wanted to be big pimpin in the 3rd shot. Sammi looked really cute in the swimsuit but pooped before we made it in the water. Maybe next time she will get to swim in it. She ended up in her swim diaper and shirt. So on Sunday I ran 5 miles! 5 whole miles! I never dreamed I could run 5 miles without stopping. Heck, I never dreamed I could run 3, but now I do that 3 times a week! It is a fun adventure that I am very glad I decided to undertake.

Marathon goal: run, walk the aid stations, run across the finish line in under the 6 hour time limit.

We had a really great afternoon out back on Sunday. We wore poor Sammi out. But Emma is the energizer bunny! We got in the pool, played on the swingset and did the slip and slide. Woo hoo!

July 6

Samantha really likes the new exersaucer, as long as big sissy isn't around to "help" her play in it. Emma went to work with daddy Sunday and Sammi had a really good time playing. I took yet another great self portrait.

Fourth of July!

Amy and her boys came over for fireworks. Emma and Zane had a lot of fun. They probably didn't see many fireworks, they were doing flips on the air mattress and wrestling most of the time!
