Fourth of July

I hope everyone had as good of a day as we had. We hung out at Frank's house all day and everyone came over at one point or another. Frank is my father in law. Here are some pictures of Samantha in her walker. Since we have an exersaucer this time we took the walker over to Franks. Check out my self portrait with her. I am pretty good, if I do say so myself.

July 3

I ran 3 miles today. Ok, I was supposed to run 3 miles today but I ended up walking a lot more than normal. The excuse that I am going to use is that I was pushing the stroller. It was just hot and I had a hard time running. Oh well. Check out my cutie in her bumbo seat! Emma stayed at uncle Timmy's and Aunt Jenn's last night so Sammi and I had the day alone together.

Ok, so I don't quite make this everday but I am not doing too bad. We got out the exersaucer for Sammi yesterday. She seems to like it. Her face always cracks me up. She has her fuzzy hair and her tongue is always sticking out these days.

From the weekend!

Things I learned this weekend:

• Walking in a parade is a lot harder than it looks
• Sammi's giggles, though far between, are totally worth it
• Emma likes to wear swim shoes in the bathtub
• I can run a lot farther than I ever dreamed I could
• I need new shoes (running shoes, although I would love any new shoes equally!)
• When running you have a lot of time to listen to your inner voice and talk with God
• My navy blue sports bra is trash
• One of the hardest parts of running is getting up on the curb
• 7 miles is not as bad as it sounds
• I cry over just about anything these days (Thanks Cheryl for the newsletter)
• Forgiveness is freeing

I didn't take these today but figured I would post them anyways. We had a busy day with a shot appt., a playdate and trip to the store. Running tonight went pretty good. It cooled off a lot so that was nice.
